Drey is owned and operated by Tuxedo Lab LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how Drey handles information when you use the Drey mobile application, related app services, and related pages on the Tuxedo Lab website.
In this Privacy Policy, "Drey", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Tuxedo Lab LLC and the Drey app. "You" and "user" refer to the person using Drey.
Drey helps you save links you want to read, watch, or listen to later and organize them into lists tied to activities.
Drey currently stores your saved links, lists, reminders, history, and preferences locally on your device. Drey does not currently provide cloud sync, and Tuxedo Lab LLC does not receive your saved links, list names, or reminder names as part of normal app use.
Drey may collect limited analytics, attribution and advertising measurement data, crash reports, purchase entitlement information, and support communications as described below.
Local app content. The links, titles, source websites, list names, activity lists, reminder settings, watched or done status, history, onboarding choices, preferences, and edits you save in Drey are currently stored locally on your device. Tuxedo Lab LLC does not receive this app content unless you choose to send it to us, such as in a support request, or unless it appears in diagnostic information described below.
Metadata from saved links. When you save a link, Drey may try to fetch title or thumbnail metadata from the linked website or a provider such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or another web service using oEmbed or similar metadata services. These requests happen from your device and may reveal to that provider that the URL was requested from your device or app session. Drey currently stores the saved URL and title locally when title metadata is available. Drey may display thumbnail metadata returned by a provider, but Tuxedo Lab LLC does not intentionally store your saved thumbnails on its servers.
Purchase and entitlement information. If you use Drey's Pro tier or other paid features, purchases are handled through the Apple App Store and managed with RevenueCat. Drey does not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive purchase status, subscription entitlement status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and related purchase history needed to provide paid features.
Analytics, attribution, and measurement. Drey may collect app analytics and measurement information, such as app launches, feature usage, subscription events, install or campaign attribution, app instance identifiers, and advertising identifiers where permitted by your device privacy settings and applicable law. Drey does not intentionally send saved URLs, link titles, list names, reminder names, or other saved app content to analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, or tracking services.
Crash reports and diagnostic information. Drey may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, installation identifiers, crash logs, diagnostic events, and information about what the app was doing when an issue occurred. Crash reports are used for troubleshooting. Drey is designed not to intentionally send saved URLs, link titles, list names, reminder names, or similar saved app content in crash reports, and we use reasonable efforts to minimize saved app content in diagnostics. However, in some cases, diagnostic information may include that content if it is involved in the crash or troubleshooting context.
Local notifications information. If you create reminders, Drey may store reminder schedules and list names locally on your device so iOS can show local notifications. Drey does not currently send push notifications or process push notification tokens.
Support communications. If you contact us, we may collect your email address, the content of your message, and any information you choose to provide so we can respond and support you.
Drey currently stores saved app content locally on your device. If you delete saved items in the app, delete the app's local data, uninstall Drey, or lose access to your device without a backup, locally stored app content may be lost.
Because Drey currently does not provide cloud sync, Tuxedo Lab LLC generally cannot access, recover, export, or delete your locally stored saved links, lists, reminders, history, or preferences for you.
Where supported by your device backup settings, locally stored app content may be included in your device backups. Tuxedo Lab LLC does not control those backups.
We use information collected through Drey to:
Drey uses third-party services to operate the app. These services may process information as described in their own privacy policies.
Drey does not currently use Google AdMob or third-party advertising networks.
Drey may use analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, app interaction data, purchase or subscription events, and related measurement data to understand app usage, measure installs, attribute campaigns, and measure advertising or marketing performance. Where permitted by your device privacy settings and applicable law, this may include tracking across third-party apps or websites for advertising measurement.
Drey does not intentionally use your locally saved URLs, link titles, list names, reminder names, history, or preferences for tracking or advertising measurement. Drey does not currently share information with data brokers and does not currently display third-party advertising. Drey is intended to respect your device privacy settings and not use alternate identifiers to conduct tracking where your device privacy settings or applicable law do not permit it.
We do not sell your saved links or app content. Because saved app content is currently stored locally, Tuxedo Lab LLC does not share your saved links, list names, reminders, or history as part of normal app use. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Drey currently uses local notifications created by you in the app. These notifications may include the relevant list name. Avoid using sensitive information in list names or reminder names if you do not want that information to appear in local notifications.
You can turn notifications off in your device settings. Where Drey offers app-level notification controls, you can also manage reminder and notification settings in the app. Drey does not currently send marketing notifications.
Locally stored app content remains on your device until you delete it in the app, delete the app's local data, uninstall the app, or your device removes it. Local content may also remain in your device backups depending on your device settings.
We keep analytics, attribution and advertising measurement records, crash reports, purchase records, entitlement records, and support communications for as long as reasonably needed to operate Drey, maintain app functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our terms.
Some information may remain in backups, logs, analytics, purchase records, or support records where deletion is not immediately possible or where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate business purposes.
Locally stored app content is stored on your device and depends in part on your device security settings. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through Drey and our service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Drey is not directed to children under 13 and should not be submitted in the Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use Drey only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Drey, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete information we maintain.
Drey and its service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of Drey after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
